Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 August 2026
1. The agreement
Webcyter is provided by Tasklegend Pty Ltd (ABN 64 682 428 379). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and Tasklegend Pty Ltd for use of the Webcyter website, booking pages, dashboard, and related services (the “Service”).
By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Webcyter for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
2. The Service
Webcyter is online software that helps you publish a booking page, collect appointment requests, and manage calendars, customers, and related business details.
Webcyter is a tool. We do not provide your services to your customers, we are not a party to those bookings, and we do not give legal, tax, accounting, or professional advice. You are responsible for your business, pricing, cancellations, refunds, and any obligations you owe your customers.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone has used it without permission.
The Service is intended for people 18 years or older who are using it to run a business or organisation.
4. Your content and customer information
You keep ownership of the content you upload (such as business name, photos, services, hours, and copy) and of the booking information your customers submit through your page.
You give Webcyter a limited licence to host, display, and process that content only as needed to operate the Service. You confirm you have the rights to use that content and that collecting your customers’ details is lawful.
For personal information about your customers, you are the business collecting that information. Webcyter processes it on your instructions to provide the Service. You must tell your customers what you collect and why, and handle their requests.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or misleading
- interfere with the Service or try to access other accounts or systems
- upload malware, scrape the Service in an abusive way, or overload our systems
- use the Service to send spam or to collect personal information you are not allowed to collect
We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms.
6. Plans, trials, and billing
Paid plans, prices, included usage, and any trial period are shown at signup and on the billing page. A 7-day free trial may apply to selected plans. Unless we say otherwise, you will not be charged during the trial. After the trial, the selected plan renews on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Fees are in Australian dollars unless we display another currency. You authorise us (through Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide for the plan you choose and any applicable tax.
You can cancel from the billing area or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals. We do not have to provide refunds for unused time on a billing period, except where Australian consumer law requires it.
Some plans have booking or feature limits. If you exceed a limit, we may ask you to upgrade or we may pause further bookings until the next period.
7. Optional integrations
You may connect third-party services such as ServiceM8. Those products have their own terms. You control when to connect them, and you are responsible for the data you send to them. We are not responsible for a third-party product that is unavailable or that handles data in a way you did not expect.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and to fix issues in a reasonable time, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change features, plans, or these Terms. If a change is material, we will try to give reasonable notice, such as by email or a notice in the dashboard. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Warranties and consumer rights
To the extent allowed by law, the Service is provided “as is”. We do not make extra promises about fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will meet every business need.
If you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot contract out of. Where we are allowed to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to resupplying the Service or paying the cost of resupply.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Tasklegend Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This cap does not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify Tasklegend Pty Ltd against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the Service, your dealings with your customers, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent we caused the loss.
12. Ending the Service
You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your plan and closing your account. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the Service. After an account ends, we may delete content in the ordinary course of operating the Service, subject to our Privacy Policy and any legal retention need.
13. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. If a court finds a part unenforceable, the rest still applies. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement for the Service. We may assign this agreement as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business. You may not assign it without our consent.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to Tasklegend Pty Ltd (ABN 64 682 428 379) at hello@webcyter.com.
